Garment Basics

Garments made of Nomex IIIA® provide superior flame-resistant protection due to the chemical basis of the fiber itself. There are no treatments or chemicals that must be added to make it flame resistant. As long as your garment is intact, your protection is with you. And with Wickwell Plus© finish, Workrite© garments boost the ability to wick moisture across the fabric surface and thus dry more quickly. With the Workrite© autoclave process, the garments provide a wash and wear appearance for the life of the garment. Nomex IIIA® garments are extremely durable and can be expected to last three to five years. This means you spend less time, energy and money on replacement garments.

Washing Instructions

Washing you Nomex IIIA® properly will extend the length of service you can expect from the garment.
Wash Nomex IIIA® garments in cold water with regular laundry detergent. Bleaching is not encouraged and should only be done using Color Safe bleach products.
Washing and drying the Nomex IIIA® garments separately from other laundry will prevent other fabrics from adhering to the Nomex IIIA® weave. This also helps to keep the colors from washing out and fading.
Drying the garments should only take 10 to 15 minutes at the regular dryer setting. Dry Nomex IIIA® separately. Immediately hang or fold the garments once the cycle is finished and you should never have to iron them, ever. Nomex IIIA® is autoclaved by Workrite© and should retain the wash and wear look for the life of the garment.
If exposure to direct flame or ember contact with the fabric occurs, inspect the fabric for integrity. If the fabric is intact and only discolored, simply use a permanent ink or felt marker to re-color the fabric. The fabric returns to its pre-dye color, an off white with yellow and red hues. Once you re-color the fabric it will be hard to tell anything happened.

Lookout Services and Workrite© will either repair or replace any garment with workmanship defects resulting from normal wear within one year of purchase.

The materials in Workrite© uniforms meet or exceed OSHA 1910.269 “Maintenance Standard” requirements and NFPA 1975 Standards.

Return Policy

Stock garments may be returned for exchange or credit with the permission of Lookout Services Uniform Company provided that they are in there original condition and have not been altered, washed, worn, soiled, etc.
Special order and non-stock items require special production runs and all such sales are final. Special garments may not be returned or exchanged.
